We believe in providing you with a wide choice of optional modules to study on your programme. This will facilitate your mission in shaping a qualification which matches the profile you or your employer require, rather than merely accepting a limited menu of modules dictated by a campus-based college.
This broad choice of modules also reflects the varied expertise within the UniCourse teaching teams.
UniCourse also teaches bespoke courses, mixing modules from both Edexcel and the ILM, via distance learning, direct teaching, or a blend of both. Direct programmes are delivered at our expansive Liverpool headquarters, or on-site throughout the North West of England, for commercial partners.
#02 Start your course any day of the year
You may enrol onto any course on any day of the year. Our Edexcel and ILM certifications are all year round as well, so no waiting till the summer to get your hard-earned diploma.
#03 No exams
All the assessment evidence required of you on your course is based purely on assignment submissions. There are never any exams.
#04 Fast marking
Prompt feedback on your assignment submissions is vital to your learning and development. We pride ourselves in endeavouring to mark your work within 48 hours. In the majority of occasions we mark work on the same day you submit it.
#05 Flexible course length
Your course can last anywhere from a few months up to a few years. It's entirely up to you, and the amount of time you can spare for your studies.
We find that many learners at UniCourse can spare 10 hours a week for private study, and are completing their programmes within 6 to 10 months.
#06 Variable pace
When family or work commitments interrupt your study schedule, don't worry. All of our courses are very flexible, so you can have study holidays whenever you like. Once you return to study just pick up where you left off.
#07 7-day tutor support
Our teachers are truly dedicated professionals, and make themselves available to you 7 days a week. After all, our students are working people, so if support is needed this is likely to happen outside of normal working hours. We understand this, and are there to support you 52 weeks a year from 8am to 7.30pm.
#08 No attendance required
All of our distance learning courses require no attendance, ever. All of your learning and assessment resources are hosted within our online learning platform. There is also an App which you may download to view these resources on your smartphone or tablet.
#09 Comprehensive induction
Once you are enrolled onto your course you are given immediate telephone guidance to familiarise you with the simple processes we adopt to administer your course and achievements. You also receive a comprehensive Learner Guide and a specialist Information Pack, in addition to guidance documents which are emailed to you once you sign up for your course.
Your online learning platform contains individual specifications and unit handbooks for each of the modules available. Of course, if you ever have any questions, our team are always there to support you.
#10 Fully-approved Edexcel and ILM centre
Since 2014 we have been an Edexcel-approved centre, and continue to go from strength to strength. Many of our 400+ students have graduated via UniCourse and gone on to gain promotion in work or joined the later years of a university course.
More recently, having added to our team of specialist teachers, we have also gained centre approval from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
#11 Earn university degree credits
Studying your HNC and/or HND with UniCourse is not the end of the line. A HNC gives you 120 credits towards an Honours Degree, and a HND gives you 240.
Why not then top up to the 360 credits needed to achieve a full Honours Degree? Check with your local university or the Open University for further details.
#12 Flexible payment plans for course fees
Increasingly, employers are sponsoring their employees to study on our programmes. If you are not that lucky then we have fee instalment options available to fit your budget. Please check on our individual course pages for further information.
